Capitol Theater Detroit, Pulp Movie Print Drink Coaster. Opened in the early 1920s, the Capitol Theater was Detroit's first ever movie palace, with its design inspired by the great opera houses of Europe. Closed down in the late 1970s, it lives on today as the Detroit Opera House. 

Now you can own a piece of Detroit's history with this ceramic coaster, created in house from a fragment of an original mid-1940s newspaper ad, featuring pulp movie listings.
