National Theater Detroit, Burlesque Print Coaster. Opened on September 16, 1911, the National Theater was initially used as a vaudeville house before transitioning to a movie theater in its later years. Now you can own a piece of Detroit's history with this ceramic coaster, created in house from a fragment of an original mid-1940s newspaper ad, featuring pulp movie, burlesque and dance club ads.
