A coprolite is fossilized feces. Coprolites give evidence to the animal's behavior - specifically what it ate! These particular coprolites are from the nether regions of prehistoric turtles. Like other fossils, coprolites have had much of their original composition replaced by mineral deposits such as silicates and calcium.
