Each of these lapel pins is made from a genuine slice of fossilized wood, polished on one face to reveal the remarkable grain and mineralization locked inside for millions of years. Formed when ancient trees were buried under sediment and slowly replaced by quartz and chalcedony, each piece is a miniature window deep into the prehistoric record.
